a good value little room with ensuite bathroom, very close to the main beach in Jericoacoara. although close to the action, it was very quiet and relaxed here, with friendly staff. we were only here for 3 days, but the next time we come back, I wouldn't hesitate to come back here and stay longer.

good location, clean room

This pousada is family kind and unique, the welcome is warm and kind, the atmosphere is relaxing and troubleless. You'll definitely feel at home here. The rooms are confortable and clean enough. Last but not least the great breakfast that is served in the morning, simple, natural and every day you enjoy an excelent view of the National Park, just perfect.

 They can also help you with the transfer to and from Fortaleza, they can provide windsurf or kitesurf lessons, trips and journey. We definitely loved the one week stay.
Just consider this place as a part of my family yet... una vez màs muchas gracias, muito obrigado!!

This trip guide was very useful, and our chosen place was this one.
We really enjoyed our stay this days at A Estrela D´Alva Pousada.
Definitely it´s a beautiful little hotel, simple, well-located, and basically offers an excelent quality/price,in this paradaise between dunes and lakes,sea and sand that jeri is....
 The manager Paula and all staff,Marcelo, Fernando, Antonia... made us feel so comfortable right away and made sure we had all of our needs met, from food in town and transfers 4x4 to several excursions organized by the hotel, all was just perfect and we highly recommend.
One of my best memories from my stay was taking my first lessons of kitesurf, with the guests/staff of the pousada, near the dunes while the sun was setting over the ocean.
Definitely excelent professionals of this sport.
 We spent the evening watching the sunset from the middle of the dunes several days,
 then rode in the buggy of Paula several tours in the Park.... Oh my God, so beautiful!!

She was also really helpful with arranging transport from airport for us, and giving us good restaurant suggestions. I did not have lunch at the Pousada, but I did see/smell the food they made for their guests and it looked delicious. I would highly recommend staying at this pousada during your trip to Jeri.Clean, good breakfast self-service kind,well located and quality and excelent price. You will feel like family immediately. If you want to be left alone, they will do that too (but you will want to hang out with them - they're really great people).

Little hotel well-located and excelent quality/price

I visited Brazil this month with my son and we made a 7 night stop in Jeri as we made our way from Fortaleza to Lençois. I won't bother repeating what others have already written. This was our 2nd time in Jeri and our 1st at this charming pousada. This was the perfect hotel for us,excelent location, clean and charming,economic price. It was quiet and very comfortable. We stayed at a larger and MUCH more expensive pousada 3 years ago and felt just like a customer there. Here we felt welcomed and were treated like part of the family.

There was a great mix of ages (2 to 60+) and nationalities while we were there. As with most of Ceara, people from the US are in the minority (which I like). We met couples and families from Italy, France, Germany, Spain, and the US. Many of the staff were able to communicate in multiple languages - not just English and Portuguese.

My son and I also went horseback riding (took the sunset tour) - and had a blast. We are both beginner riders and they matched us with the right horses. By the time we were done we were even galloping.
We also arranged a buggy tour of the lagoons and had a great time. They will help you arrange many different day-trips if you are interested.
A few side notes on Jeri. It is much more expensive than many people realize. Many shops and restaurants do take credit cards now, but plan ahead. The prices for food and other items is much more like being in Rio or SP (becuase of their remote location + demand). Also, do some research on your travel options from Fortaleza to Jeri. There are many ways to get there and spend a beautiful time.Highly recommended.

Charming and beautiful place

Hi everybody I'm a French young man, 34 ys old, and I'd like to share with u the beautiful experience I
 and my girlfriend spent in Jericocoara on past month in Jericocoara, at A Estrela D´Alva Pousada. 
We iniatially booked just 3 nights there but because of tne amazing scenario of Jerico and the family
likeness we could breath in the place and in A Estrela D Alva we changed our mind and prolonged our staying
there to a week. 
I enjoyed the beautiful room we stayed. It was simple but full of every kind of modern comfort included a 
pretty balcony, wi-fi in the suite, 32 channels tv,a very cold ar conditioner and 3 big windows in the suite,
very big and fresh,simply good quality at a very good price.
Location is perfect,just in the centre,near the beach,secure and you go walking all places you want.
I begun to chill out into the beach,doing open-air activities and I carried 
on spending my time in the nice lagoons of the place.Staff and owners, really friendly and available to solve
any matter.Brasilian mood!
I miss the breakfast all togheter on the terrace of the last floor of the pousada,it´s simply beautiful that 
panoramic vision of the place!
From our balcony we could see Serrote Mountain and several dunes that characterize Jerico.We enjoyed sunset everyday 
on the top of the highest dune or on the top of the hill in front of the natural arch called "Pedra Fourada".. 
everytime was different and really touching. Now this experience is finished and all that you can see are pictures,
 images but Jerico and Vila Bela Vista have deeply signs us and no picture will ever show this.
