Me and my sister stayed at the hotel flora for a week.we got back  on Friday.We had a lovely time
The owners were so helpful.Angel cooked us some lovely meals.I have booked to go there again  In September with my husband.l wouldn't want to stay anywhere else as it was just perfect

Just finishing a lovely two week holiday and as usual loved our stay at the Hotel Flora.  We love staying in this Bulgarian family-run small hotel where Angel will do his utmost to look after you.   New curtains and bedding and TV have made it even nicer and the vase of roses taken from the garden was a lovely touch.   This hotel is individual rather than the typical large four star hotels which I feel are very impersonal.  Located near to shops and the beach so couldn’t ask for more. Will be here again in August - can’t wait

We arrived at the hotel Flora in the early hours the owner helped us to the room with our cases. There are no lifts so not suitable if relying on a lift. Room basic and clean maybe could be updated but we were not there for the decor. The hotel is situated down a residential street very quiet and peaceful, unfortunately no car parking. Breakfast usual continental breakfast cold meats bread fruit cereal. You can have bacon and eggs if you ask. No swimming pool a small terrace could do with some more umbrellas and longer with cushions, however only 5 min walk to beach. Janet supermarket 2 min walk and 2 mins to restaurants. Owner does not speak a lot of English but we got by very friendly nothing to much trouble. If you are looking for luxury posh decor swimming pool and night life this would not be for you. If you want a base to explore Nessebar that is quiet comfy and clean close to shops and 20 min walk into old town Nessebar this is perfect 

Just returned after our first visit to Bulgaria, our Golden Wedding Anniversary treat to ourselves.  We arrived at this delightful small hotel after midnight and were welcomed by the owner Angel who took our suitcases up to our room for us.  We spent 2 weeks there and the location was perfect for us, with both Sunny Beach and the old town of Nessebar within easy walking distance.  However, had we been unable to walk to either of these places, nearby there was a free bus shuttle and a road train available for a small fee.  The hotel was clean with all the basic comforts we required, and very peaceful, being situated in a residential area with many shops and restaurants nearby.  We only booked bed and breakfast but, if we had known what an excellent chef Angel was, and how reasonable his prices were, we would have booked half board.  We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough and are hoping to return later in the season next year.


A lovely family run hotel. Very central for beach, restaurants, Nessebar old town and all amenities. A very nice en-suite room, clean and bright with balcony and a good breakfast provided each morning. with option for evening meal.  Angel could not have been more helpful, there to meet us and take our bags even though we arrived well past midnight. A very good holiday experience for us, and we would definitely stay at Flora again when visiting Nessebar.

Just arrived and even though it’s midnight, Angel is always there to get our cases and take them to our room.  They’ve remembered which is our favourite room and have even put a small vase of flowers in the room.   Clean and tidy as always   Looking forward to a lovely fortnight in Nessebar and no doubt catching up with people who like us, visit each year

Just back from a great weeks holiday in Nessebar staying at Hotel Flora which we could not fault.  We arrived at 4am and were welcomed by Angel who met us at the end of the street with a sack barrow for our luggage. Our room was spotlessly clean with balcony, TV, fridge and en suite bathroom with excellent shower.  Towels were changed after three days and beds were made every day.  We had B&B and were very happy with the continental breakfast buffet offering - cereal, cold meats, cheeses, boiled eggs, tomatoes, fresh fruit, brioche/cake and tea/coffee but you could also request cooked options such as omelette or bacon and egg if you wanted.    Everything was within easy walking distance - beach, supermarket, Nessebar Old Town, bars and restaurants, etc.  We also really appreciated being able to access our room right up until our pick up tome (2.40pm) on the final day.  Would always choose small family run hotel over massive, plastic, resort complex and Hotel Flora was a fine example.  Would not hesitate to recommend and would certainly return.

more of a small and very friendly guest house in a quiet  residential area, only went b and b but excellent tasty and  reasonable priced meals were available would well recommend, cooked breakfasts if wanted just ask (cheese omelette a must). good size rooms with balcony, kept very clean. 10mins walk to beach 5mins walk to all amenities. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.sun beds and outside dining available

If you want a bland, characterless hotel which will offer a predictable impersonal service, Hotel Flora is not for you. It is is only a few minutes away on the bus or on the mini train from Sunny Beach but in style is a world away, in a quiet residential neighbourhood in the middle of Nessebar. There are pleasant cafes, a local shopping street, a good supermarket, a Tourist Information Office and bus stops, all no more than five minutes walk away, the beach is no more than ten minutes walk and the World Heritage status old town of Nessebar a pleasant fifteen-minute walk. The hotel is aptly named with beautiful flowers everywhere, it is a family hotel where after a few days you begin to feel that you are family guests. Angel, Vanya and Iassia are attentive and will always do their best to be helpful, even when, as we did, you arrive at 1.30 am. There is continental breakfast available each morning but with thoughtful variations, a bowl of ripe cherries from the garden, some strawberries, some pastries, and if you want something else Angel will quickly provide it from the kitchen, in my case, for example, bacon and eggs. We had an evening meal on three occasions with Iassia whose English is very good, on hand to help out, they were enjoyable and extraordinarily good value for money. The rooms are of generous proportions with a good balcony, efficient air conditioning and shower, and a feature which we had not encountered before, a regular fridge, not a mini-bar, which we found very useful. If you are a person who likes to find faults no doubt you will find them, but if you are someone who realizes that a smile and a positive attitude will go a long way when there are occasional linguistic and cultural problems you will love this hotel and its location.

Hotel Flora is a great value, no frills type of establishment. The owners, Angel and Vania are lovely and speak basic English.  
Angel was super helpful with bags when we arrived, both very obliging and kind. The hotel clean and basic, nice continental breakfast with a cooked option if requested, located between two nice beaches, you do get what you pay for and this was super cheap. It was a nice change from the mega busy package holiday hotels. Super quiet and no screaming kids. 
The hotel seems to have a loyal following of late season retirees that return each year. I would be happy to return.

A lovely week in Nessebar in a very nice family run hotel

Lovely small friendly hotel. Furniture in bedroom dated but  fine.breakfast included, continental or could have cooked if you wanted. Deal on evening meal was very good and the choice of food was excellent and was well cooked and presented. No pool but a sun deck with a few loungers there. Nice walk around the area , shops, bars, restaurants. A good walk into old nessebar or could get on the little road train for 4lev each.lots of shops in old nessebar

Great Value, Clean and Comfortable

Stayed here for a week clean basic family run hotel with staff that make you feel very welcome,Angel who runs the Hotel can't do enough for you and is so helpful and friendly we were delayed and didn't arrive till 4.30 in the morning and Angel was waiting and helped with our cases.We missed breakfast on the first morning and when we got up Vanya made us coffee and had prepared us fresh fruit and cakes.We we're B+B breakfast was cold ham cheese fruit and toast or you could have eggs or a fry up,we had omelette a few mornings made by Angel and they were lovely,we ate in the Hotel twice and the food was delicious cooked by Angel and very reasonably priced.The rooms are clean the shower lovely and hot.The hotel is close to the beach,nice bars and shops.It is a basic hotel but the staff especially Angel are so welcoming warm and friendly.🌞
