Yovina House Zheravna 

My family and I stayed (2 adults, two kids age 6&12) in the house for a few day while visiting Zheravna. First impression was how clean the house nd the garden were, well maintained and loved! The place felt very secure and was extremely quiet. The views from the terrace were amazing. The rooms we were allocated were not linked, each had a clean, basic bathroom. The shower is of the old fashioned ones, which means that the whole bathroom gets wet. Not a problem at all as the weather was lovely and hot! The house has in house cook, who doubles as receptionist and general duty/enquiry point of contact. The food is delicious and average priced ( for Bulgaria - a family of 4 can rat&drink for anything between £15-£35) WiFi was okay. The rooms were spacious, the beds comfortable. For two star place, it was great! I could have appreciated mattress protectors (bed sheet were slightly small for the bed and every morning one of us would be laying on the mattress!), opening time for the tavern (“Mehana”) - do ask when they will be serving food before assume they will be open and also sign/instruction how to sign in when you arrive. I’d recommend you consider parking on the top street, above the house, as the alternative is making a very steep turn on cobble street, which is not very easy. The parking of the house itself is limited (2-3cars) and were often taken. If you are travelling with kids, make sure you have enough toys/games/books with you. The water is drinkable, there a number of other places you can eat at, though the menus are very similar. The place is full of fantatsic places, you can visit the small museums and church against a small fee (3lv = £1.30) Do ask about German/English tours so you can make the most of your visit.
