We are totally satisfied with our stay in this hotel. It already started with the reservation, it was possible by email.
The hotel itself is built in traditional Bulgarian style. It is not a large complex but still large enough for your needs. It fits perfectly into the rural countryside of the balcan mountains.
Pool is available. Food in the restaurant is tasty.
Parking is possible outside the hotel.
Friendly waitresses. 
The hotel was occupied mainly by families with children. All kids made friends already on the second day and played together.

Hotel is located in the small mountain village of Apriltsi, in the heart of " Stara Planina". All rooms have gorgeous views of the mountains. If you visit inthe summer, the hotel has a private pool, with lounge chairs. In the winter you can enjoy the deeply covered streets and mountains with fresh snow. You can also enjoy the fireplace inside the tavern. The food is cooked by the owners mother and is all fresh-bio, and locally crown.

This is the country house you wish your family had — rustic, traditional and charming, but also clean, comfortable, and convenient! 

It's a gorgeous setting with idyllic mountain views, a lovely pool (including a shallow kids' pool), a pretty garden where the children can run around and play on swings and slides, and a picturesque, open-air tavern where you can sit and drink or eat while enjoying the view (or while the kids play/swim nearby). 

The rooms are spacious, clean, and beautifully appointed — everything is new and comfortable, but with rustic charm. The large balconies have chairs where you can drink wine or coffee with a view over the mountains and the property. Parking is easy; there's a farm across the street and restaurants in town, but the getaway is so ideal for families, ours never left the property.

This is a very nice hotel with good fresh food.  The pool is lovely and the views over the Balkan Rangeare amazing.  Service at breakfast was very slow but it didn't seem to matter.  Our first room was not good as it was at the back of hotel over the kitchen and with noise from an extractor fan and a water pump.  We asked to change and although the manager said the hotel was full initially he then 'found' another room which was great.  It was spacious with a balcony and had the views. The village is extensive and well worth walking round though a map would be handy. The inside dining room is full of interesting traditional items so it is like a little museum.

Charming mountain resort - ideal for families!

Great mountain view hotel

Real home made food and realy warm and friendly accommodation

Went a couple a months ago with friends and had a good time. Not great but average. Frozen food, unfriendly staff but nice atmosphere. I just went back with my partner and my border collie. And they didn't let us have some lunch. The owner was like "This place is for people, not dogs". I get it, no problem, but again the atittute was horrible. Illegal smoking place! Never going back again

Not impressed, horrible attitude 

I visited Svatovete as part of a group with children being on a chess tournament held in Aprilci. We spent 5 days at Svatovete. We were big group with 15 children, occupying every hotel room. 

We faced a really bad attitude from the owner/manager or the boss,not sure about his status, towards the children. He yelled at them and us and insulted us in a most ugly manner. 

Although there is a playground within the hotel, there was forbidden for the children to run, laugh and play.
   
Some of the rooms were nice, but others were really dark and depressing.

The pool's water was kind of oily, it smelled on dirt, rather than chloride, as every other pool. The children enjoyed it, but even after bath, their skins smelt not good. I never got into the pool.
