490 is a lovely place to stay.  It is spotlessly clean with a lovely ambiance.
Susan is very accommodating, and serves a delicious breakfast. My daughter and I needed to leave early and Susan made it possible for us to have an early breakfast.  Her little dog Tuck was happy to be a social director during our stay.  Would recommend 490 to anyone.

We were in muskoka for business and 490 was a lovely place to wind down and relax 

My friend and I booked this for a long weekend and we had a great time. Susan is an excellent host, friendly, helpful and her place is wonderfully quaint, clean and tidy. The breakfast she made for us was delicious too! The location is central and it's easy to get around to different parts of Muskoka. Highly recommended!

Wonderful stay

The Four Ninety Bed and Breakfast is a very special place. The garden, the rooms are very well maintained and tastefully decorated. We immediately felt comfortable. The breakfast is very good and served with so much love. The location is perfect for exploring Gravenhurst and the region. Located directly at the park, it is very quiet and in the garden you can relax very well. Thank you very much Susan for the nice stay,

Wonderful place to relax

We stayed here for four nights to visit with family nearby.  Our room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. The bed was huge and very comfortable .Great breakfast, picture shown. Our host did everything possible to make our stay great. We would definitely stay again.

Four Ninety Gravenhurst

My husband Larry says that the 490MUSKOKA is the BEST  BED  AND BREAKFAST. Larry is very very fussy! The King bed was so soft and I wanted to bring it home 🤗 The home and yard are very pretty. The house is beautifully decorated and immaculately kept.   LOVE SUSANS '  BREAKFAST

CIVIC Weekend 2021

My husband and I had a nice experience at Four Ninety Bed and Breakfast. Surrounded by lush greenery and just steps away from the lake, the property is serene and idyllic. 

We stayed in one of the sleeping cabins, which was reminiscent of a Tiny House. The interior was clean and cozy. It was a bit compact, but it had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable glamping experience: private washroom with composting toilet, soap, mini fridge, kettle, coffee and tea, plenty of towels, robes, flip flops, and a television with Netflix. 

I liked the cute and antique touches inside - the sink was made of a ceramic fruit bowl installed on a beautiful antique dresser. There was an antique Victorian handheld mirror that was handy for applying my makeup. There were also fresh flowers and cute art within the cabin. 

The host, Susan, is very kind and welcoming. She served us delicious, outstanding breakfasts that included sumptuous yogurt parfaits with homemade granola, fresh fruit, gourmet sandwiches, pastries, coffee and apple juice. This breakfast was enjoyed in the patio gazebo that had net curtains to keep the bugs away. While eating our meal, we had a nice view of the garden and forest - it was a great way to start our days. 

The outdoor shower was relaxing - getting to bathe with open sky while surrounded by natural elements of stone, wood and greenery was cool. I felt refreshed as I stepped out into the idyllic garden in my robe. In the garden, there is a bubbling pond with a little waterfall. There is also a bonfire area, which we did not get to use, but hopefully will be able to when we return.

If you want to escape into the woods, but aren't inclined to lug a tent and other camping gear, Four Ninety B&B is a place where you can find wonderful, affordable comfort. It is a great retreat from the overwhelm of city life.  My husband and I are looking forward to returning.

A Great Glamping Experience!

We had a wonderful getaway at Four Ninety B&B. Our room was bright with a very comfortable bed and included robes to relax in. The bathroom was spotless as was the entire home. The homemade granola and freshly squeezed juices were delicious as were all the breakfasts. Truly five star. Susan and Jeff made us feel like we were family, not just guests and their dog was as friendly they were. We'd return in a heartbeat.

Very nice and friendly my the host was going to take the weekend off then when she found my husband & I were coming up to visit with my sister she stayed open for us. Very nice
If you travel that way we would recommend it very highly.

We just finished our two day stay at Four Ninety Bed and Breakfast, and it was wonderful! Susan and Jeff were extremely welcoming, the room and the entire house was very clean and well kept. It was cozy, just as we expected for a bed and breakfast. It is in a prime location, and we were able to walk in to town for our meals. Susan was very helpful in pointing out places for us to check out while up in Muskoka. 

The breakfast was fresh and filling. The French toast and fresh juice, and yogurt parfait with her homemade granola cannot be beat. 

We definitely recommend staying at Four Ninety Bed and Breakfast, we will be back next time we are up in Muskoka!
