I stayed one night at Travelodge as a solo female traveller and had a very positive experience. The hotel was spotless and felt quiet and safe, which was really important to me. The room wasn’t huge and the bathroom was on the smaller side — but honestly, I don’t see why anyone needs a massive bathroom anyway (for modelling? 😂). Everything was clean and well maintained. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and I slept really well. The bathroom had toiletries, a hairdryer, and a radiator. One small thing to note is that the shower water took about 3–4 minutes to heat up, but once it did, it was perfectly fine. The room was well equipped with a coffee machine, cups, pods, sugar, a mini fridge, and a wardrobe. Reception staff were friendly and welcoming. The rooms aren’t quite as spacious as the photos suggest, but it really wasn’t a problem for a short stay. I was a bit worried before arriving because of some older reviews, but I left very happy and would definitely stay again.
