Nice resort, the service  is good, we had a great time in this beautiful hotel and Brittney manager of entertainment she is really friendly, she is a nice person, she is doing a great job with the staff, next year we really like to coming back again 🥰💕

We had such a great stay at 4 Mariner, Sherkston Shores! Melanie was such a great host. The trailer was super cute and super clean. Modern and quaint it was also well stocked with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and relaxing. Her prices are very good as well; More than fair! We will definitely book with her again!

I have been dealing with a fantastic person in the office her name is Alicia, I can't say enough about the help she has been. She is very knowledgeable about the park and has always been very helpful and has been great to work with.  Keep up the good work Alicia. 

Great staff members

The pools were nice.  For how many people are there, the staff do a very good at keeping it clean.  All the staff I in countered where very nice.  Some golf cart driver are courteous, other golf cart drives aren't.

I enjoy my trip

Great resort and a lot of fun for the family.  All the amenities that are listed in the website are indeed true to form, in addition to some great new additions (massive blow-up platforms in the main lake area).

Super fun and so much for old and young to do.   Very large park however if you are not camping near the main slides area, you may want to plan ahead and rent a golf cart as we did, otherwise you will have no problem getting your steps in.

Only issue we seen, and this is the same from this trip we just got back from, in addition to our visit last year, is that there seems to be a bit of special allowances given to the Seasonal renters vs week-long or weekend renters in regards to overall rules enforcement with aggressively loud music and the "policing" of speeding or reckless driving in golf carts.   With regards to Music we stayed in the Quarry Ridge area and were fairly close to middle, and one of the seasonal's was blaring their music insanely loud.  With quiet hours starting at 11 it was moderately turned down then, but the bass was still deep and present.   This was a similar instance to last year where at 2am I had to call security who very reluctantly came down to 'Have a listen'.    Also some of the driving abilities of the 18 year old seasonal' s are very aggressive (and well under the age limit of 18 to drive a golf cart there) and numerous times saw security drive right past them without batting an eye.

Other than that it is a good place to visit and have fun.

Fun Place

Kids flying around in Golf carts. Witnessed 2 hit and runs. Its like the wild west w golf carts. Beaches are nice and staff is ok. Security has attitude but who wouldn't w that privileged crowd. Lucky we have friends there who are terrific. Place is very clean all things considered.  

Sherkston beach

I have stayed a Sherkston 11 times over the years. Twice this summer. This past long Labour Day weekend we booked a property through a new Private management company at Sherkston called “Visit Sherkston” on site 196 Forrest Grove in the Hickory Lane section. The property was not as advertised. The Decour was great, and that is amazing for the owners who did it. But the company managing it is doing the absolute bare minimum on upkeep and cleaning the property. It was truly disgusting in regards to cleanliness, especially when you’re paying over 500 a night 🤯. But the worst part of it all was the unprofessionalism of the staff from ‘Visit Sherkston’, specifically, Sue Ann and Cassandra. In person when advising of the cleanliness issues, I was continually interrupted by Sue Ann who refused to listen or look at the issues that were presented. She was defensive and said that the place looks fine.  My video and pictures speak for themselves. 

We then had one of the televisions that did not work when we were there as one of the fire stick remotes was missing and they were not interchangeable for each TV. The messages that I received from “visit Sherkston“ through the Airbnb site was truly deplorable. At no point did I ever know who I was speaking or texting with. They were unprofessional and rude, and blamed me for being a “complainer“ and “what did I expect from a vacation rental at the beach”? MORE! A lot More! 

I have spent a lot of money in this resort over the past 10 years, and I honestly do not think I will be returning after this terrible experience that took up a lot of time during the weekend due to having to deal with Airbnb, who were dealing with ‘Visit Sherkston’. This issue could easily have been resolved on the Friday when we arrived had their team been professional and apologetic for the dirtiness of the property. And refunded some of the money instead, Airbnb had to deal with them the entire weekend and I have been given money back by Airbnb, but only $100 by ‘Visit Sherkston’ as they refused any more refund. They have only been in business for six months. I can’t see them being successful with this type of lack of leadership and professionalism. Blaming the customer, who is immune compromised from cancer, about the cleanliness of the property. Mind blowing.

‘Visit Sherkston’ managing company a DISASTER

The resort as a whole is nice but they need to keep better maintenance, which you would expect for the cost! 
The pools are constantly cloudy and dirty with debris, bugs and hair floating around and it doesn’t appear to get cleaned all day. The ropes inside the pool are covered in hair and look like they are never cleaned or changed.
For how expensive this place is they should be doing hourly sweeps of the pools. Also, the teenagers/preteens take up half the pool jumping in/splashing all the young kids/babies in the face to the point that they have to get out. Jumping is fine but this is constant, “who can make bigger splashes” (not normal
jumps) for hours straight disturbing other guests and nothing is said to them. 
The washrooms in the pool area are so dirty there was blood and poop smeared over multiple stalls and dirty tampons on the floor and it was like this for hours. The dog parks have so much dog poo you can barely walk in them :(

Disappointed in the cleanliness

We rented a Rustic Cabin but had no clue that we would be right beside a very busy road with music blasting as golf carts go by. Hard to sleep because it's like party town after 9PM.   We were also by the garbage that people would stop and trow out their garbage. Not the greatest site. The water park is ok but very crowed.  Good luck finding a lounge chair. We did enjoy the band at night but once again very crowed.  They have golf carts to rent because it actually is dangerous walking on the main road but there were no carts left to rent so  we drove over to the things we wanted to do. Over-all I would tell people not to brother renting a cabin as it's not worth the money to sit next to a road. I can do that at home.

Not worth the money

So I’m glad to see I’m not the only one feeling ripped off. I rented private a great cabin on Wyldewood Beach. 
Long weekend for Canada day
Went to get ice cream sold out
A friend asked for smokes and gave me a 20. Smokes were 21.27. It’s okay I was only miles from the cabin.
Took kids for water park passes. Pool at capacity. I asked yo be notified. Nope. Just try again later 
Then went to quarry. Water inflatables. At capacity 
Go back to the sales centre and the vacation rentals is closed. Go into the owners centre and get water park passes about 30 minutes after the first attempt 
The only thing that is free now is the beach and it’s full of disrespectful non Canadian visitors that have no respect for nature or family values. 
The place was filtlthy by Sunday. The stench of the garbage was unreal with bins overflowing and stuff ripped up by wildlife. The kids loved the action as they were 14 but as the one who had to not relax in order to meet their needs my trip was ruined with the constant back n forth almost begging to use the facilities that I paid a lot to be near and have access to. This place is failing its guests with overcrowding and policing the wrong type of stuff.  Access to the pool should be free. I didn’t pay that much to go the beach. I’m local and do that all over that place for free. Within 5 minutes there are several free beaches in the same lake   Several quarry sites Not likely going again unless it’s with friends yo party for the weekend for free.
