Crowne Plaza Shanghai Fudan by IHG 

Stayed here from 19 Dec 2025 to 10 Jan 2026. Room 418: The room was consistently clean and well maintained, with fresh air every time I returned. I was always warmly greeted by Housekeeping Attendant Li Ping (利平), who showed genuine hospitality. She went the extra mile by thoughtfully topping up four additional bottles of water every day after noticing that I drink a lot of water. This truly reflects IHG’s standards, creating great hotels that guests love by observing guest preferences and delivering exceptional experiences, rather than focusing on cleaning alone. Business Center – 19th Floor: The Business Center offers printing pages and scanning services, which are very fast and convenient. When WeChat was not working, guests could borrow a thumb drive from the counter, and I did not encounter any issues throughout the printing process. The business center services team is polite, professional, and knowledgeable. Food & Beverage Dining: It would be highly appreciated if the hotel could consider offering more local vegetarian options in its dining outlets. As there are currently no vegetarian restaurants in the surrounding area of Crowne Plaza Fudan, guests often need to take a taxi or Didi to travel to more distant locations for vegetarian meals. Providing a wider variety of local vegetarian dishes would greatly enhance convenience for vegetarian guests and further elevate the overall dining experience. I was slightly disappointed that the Christmas Eve buffet did not offer dedicated vegetarian options. I appreciated the honesty of a Food & Beverage team member wearing a black blazer, he who sincerely advised that it might not be worthwhile for me to pay the buffet price given the limited vegetarian selections available. He shows the "IHG True Hospitality for Good," focused on making a positive impact on their guests, as this shows value guests and not for money. Nevertheless, he kindly encouraged me at the Tea Lounge to choose the à la carte menu rather than the Christmas Eve buffet for Vegetarian food, which I did order afterall. While I valued this transparency, having clear and sufficient vegetarian options during special dining events would greatly improve the experience for vegetarian guests and ensure better value for money. Concierge and Bell Desk Experience: Regarding vegetarian dining options and transportation arrangements, I would like to extend special thanks to the hardworking Concierge and Bell Desk team, especially Anderson, for thoughtfully introducing local vegetarian dining options and nearby shopping areas. Their assistance with taxi bookings and helpful recommendations greatly enhanced my stay and made exploring the area much more convenient.
