Beautiful complex in a perfect location. The grounds are immaculate, very nice pool, beachfront with plenty of chairs and palapas to sit under. Nearby: 5 min walk to great restaurants- Kat’s- live music most nights, fun atmosphere, Delia’s cafe- great breakfast, coffee and pastries, La Bruja- very good food and drinks, and Yeye’s- very good authentic Dominican food. While in the DR, try the Mofongo, the mamajuana, mangu and fried plantains- so good! 5 min walk to a great pharmacy with the most friendly people, and a really nice grocery store next door. On the beach: we had a great lunch at Huracen, and Villa Blanca as well as fresh coconut water near Hiracen. My friend also had a great massage on the beach. We had an incredible excision to Saona island- well worth a full day! ** If your tour takes you to Manu Juan village or beach where they have the turtle conservation presentation, please take dog food with you! Some of the dogs need it so badly. Each unit is individually owned. Ours was updated very nicely.
