What can I say, it was my 3rd time at the IFA and it was as good as the first two trips. I research where i'm going so I knew in advance that there were renovations happening but that didn't deter me and it also didn't interfere with my vacation. We arrived earlier in the day at around 1:00 pm and we were prepared to have to wait for our room by packing swimsuits in our backpacks but our room was ready and we were all set. I requested a 2nd floor room but got a ground floor. I don't like crawling insects and critters so I always request a 2nd floor but I decided to try it for one night and see what happened. There were no crawlies and our room was kept super clean. We split our time between the two pools and the beach with no issues. The food was good at the buffet especially the breakfast and the pizza there is awesome! My favorite though is the Café Dominican where they make delicious cocktails. It's the best spot to unwind with a Spanish coffee as well. They have a great shopping center which has snacks, beverages, and any other goodies you might want at average prices. Overall, Good Food, Good drinks, wonderful staff...all equals amazing time. Also a big shout out to the spa! Thanks to Elizabeth for booking it and Margarita your hands are amazing. Awesome massages ladies! Can't wait to return when the renovations are complete! Just one little thing, please upgrade the wifi,..it's super slow. :-)
