Behind the huge gates is a wonderful surprise - charming rooms in a garden setting! Our room was on the ground floor with direct access to the gardens. It was very quiet and dark at night so we got a very good sleep! We were greeted by Amélie, who spoke very good English and showed us around. The main bedroom was very large and the bathroom was huge and well-equipped with lots of towels but the towel heater did not work (😞) A short walk to a variety of restaurants. Breakfast was in the main house - cereals, yogurt, fresh fruit, breads and very good coffee...but no eggs. Amélie served us and it was a real delight to interact with her and her knowledge of the town and the area!
