The Chambres d'hotes Notre Paradis do not look very inviting when you approach the front door but do not be deceived, the welcome is very warm, the rooms are very good and the hosts are some of the most enchanting people you will ever meet. The decor is a little dated, there is a shared toilet and shower but do not let this put you off. We ate with the owners for both nights and I must say that they made the trip all the more memorable. Not only is the food they serve very good indeed, there is plenty of it and the conversation never stops. Their breakfasts are also a good way to start the day. You will be at the American Cemetery in 15 minutes and the Forts of Verdun in less than 30 minutes. Staying at the Notre Paradis made a very good trip to the area all the more memorable.
