We stayed at Chateau d’Og for six nights. It is located on the edge of the village of Fors, south of Niort. The chateau was bought by the new owner, Jennifer, last year. There are five individually decorated rooms including double, twin and family rooms. The chateau was built in 1880 and remains a grand and imposing building. There is a nice garden and plenty of parking. Breakfast is included in the price and a three course Chinese dinner can be offered for €18; an excellent option due to her authentic northern Chinese recipes and the lack of restaurants in the local area. I would really recommend the Chateau and is a unique experience. Excellent value for money and would recommend.
