Most pitches have lively views and the pitches are well set up and the grounds are immaculate.  Facilities are well organised and scrupulously clean.  Very near beach and cliff path.  Can order bread the night before.  Little restaurant does best moules frites ever and is v reasonable

We stayed at the Bellevue Mer campsite in April 2013.  We were lucky to have very good weather (despite it looking grey in the photographs!) and had a great pitch right next to the wall overlooking the sea.  

This is a small campsite with something like 50 pitches for motorhomes, caravans and tents.  There are also a number of static self-catering homes for those who maybe prefer a few more luxuries.

Many of the pitches have a decked area with chairs and table where you can sit and watch the tide roll in.  This is a great feature and something I've not come across elsewhere.  We had dinner one night in the bar/restaurant which was prepared and cooked by the owner (a lovely man who shook hands with us every time we saw him).  The food was simple yet very good and extremely reasonably priced.  The chocolate pudding was divine!

The toilet and shower facilities were clean and modern. There was also two barbecues close to the bar/reception and a children's play area - small but big enough to keep kiddies entertained.

The rocky beach is a 500 metres walk down some (steep) steps. When the tide is out you can walk a distance (check the tidal charts to ensure you don't get stuck) and there are some great rock pools to explore - our dogs loved the beach, just be prepared for some soggy paws.

Hillion is a lovely place very similar to Cornwall but without all the tourist shops and many visitors! There's also an aire in the next bay (about 10 minutes walk away) with a sandy beach - again this is a nice place to stop plus there's a slope and not steps to the beach.

This is a very nicely kept campsite, great if you want good facilities but not a huge site with lots of people and noise.  Visit Bellevue and you will not be disappointed!

A pleasant little find on our travels we booked 2 nights ,we found it clean and tidy and very friendly. Very quiet site .We cycled into the village, and also walked around the headland. Small swimming pool ,have to use a swim cap .

We didn't stay here, but people should know it's a place you can get a really good meal. Though it had a limited menu, this little bar was exactly what my tired family of four needed after a long day hiking and playing on the beach. Located on the edge of a cliff, it's a terrific place to get an inexpensive meal while watching the sun go down over the beautiful bay. I had the most flavorful moules of any I had while in Brittany, and my three American family members, who were craving something other than seafood, were thrilled with their freshly made burgers. Dessert was Toblerone ice cream bars. The local couple who run the restaurant were pleasant and patient with my family as they practiced their French, and they made us feel welcome even though we arrived not long before the kitchen was to close. The place isn't fancy and the menu is small, but we had a wonderful evening and would happily return. After your meal, walk down to the beach and look for crabs among the rocks.
