Maison Anne Fouquet

I cannot say enough about Anne and her home in the Dordogne area. The location is perfect - in the countryside away from tour buses and traffic but only minutes to restaurants, etc. Anne's hospitality and kindness is what makes this place special. Her rooms are in a separate building from her home so you have privacy but if you need anything she is the home next door on the same property. The rooms are quiet, spacious and the views are magnificent with large windows that look onto the Dordogne valley with the early morning fog is something to see especially when you see the hot air balloons in the air. Her recommendations for places to eat are perfect for the area and we have enjoyed every meal at the restaurants she has booked for us. You can choose to have breakfast in the morning (cost extra) or not in the common area that has a lovely balcony. We will not stay anywhere else but with Anne and will return to finish our visit in the Dordogne Valley. Merci.
