We loved it ! Really beautiful and tranquil. Beatifully set in between trees close to a stunning sandy beach . It’s pretty much traffic free , you leave your car in the car park . Trolley carts are available for moving your bags and for heavy shopping . Everyone takes or hires bike ,the island is well provided with cycle paths. Take your own duvet cover , sheet and pillowcases ( we took queen not king so ours was too small ! but bought a cheap set from Leclerc. Take towels and beach towels. Duvets and pillows are provided. Kitchen very well equipped , dishwasher too ! Shower room very nice and spacious , bedroom too. Our pitch was a bit shady and we were on the main path so in a sociable spot , but not a problem and everyone very friendly. Local market amazing , great fish and seafood . Good Carrefour for day to day shopping. Great bigger Leclerc or Intermarche about 10 minute drive . Didn’t eat out as cooking facilities so good and local produce just amazing ! Local artisan boulangerie was also stunning , we miss the lovely bread and croissants. It’s a beautiful island to look around. We were very lucky , in mid September the weather was still warm and sunny and we swam every day . ( although we splashed out on cheap wetsuits from Decathlon ! ) A beautiful beach a five minute walk away , to the right its nudist so you may be surprised ! All in a lovely place and we would definitely go back.
