Hôtel Club le Crêt

Where to begin- amazing hotel especially if you have young children- they have kids club, entertainment all day and night and snacks- it reminds me of eurocamp in the snow! This hotel is full of French , which I love and a good indication how amazing it is if the locals flock here!! The hotel is slightly out of the main Morzine centre but I mean 7 min walk up the Main Street - door to door to the pleney ski lift or a free bus right outside the door- the compromise is the hire is beautiful, spacious hotel rather than a cramped one in the centre! , 2 pools, sauna, jacuzzi (that fits 15 people! ). Huge dining area so no one is ever waiting for a table . I imagine in the summer it’s stunning too- outdoor pool, play area, deer, birds cages. The food is delicious and different every night, it’s a Buffet but seriously huge and superb quality- fresh salmon, crab even had oysters and thats just the starters! Main we had fillet steak, stir fry, pasta, chicken, rotary meats… the list goes on and the chefs will make it fresh in front of you - puddings galore and never run out . Breakfast the same - ooh and did I say they have free endless wine and beer on draft with juices too during meal times and breakfast high end coffee machine and hot chocolate! Nothing not to like here - We booked thro sunweb, hadn’t used them before but amazing to deal with and tons cheaper - included flights, ski hire and passes- saved a fortune! The only thing I would do is book the sunweb bus or use ‘ski-lifts’ to book a shared transfer from the airport(both the same price) . We sadly used ‘we.transfer’ to get a private taxi and they cancelled last minute and kept our money! Avoid!! Otherwise defo recommend this tour operator and hotel. We went in Xmas week and worth noting Morzine centre had tons of Xmas activities and Santa stuff going on. Our hotel had fireworks at Xmas eve and really made a fuss of the kids. Every night they also had a show with their own entertainers- wasn’t our thing but lots went. Family rooms had a double bed in a separate room and 2 single beds In another side room- balcony overlooking the forest and garden and outside pool. Cleaners came in very day and made our beds and gave us fresh towels . We used le pleney heated lockers 11e a day which was well worth the comfort of not dragging our skies about. We did have to pay £10each adult tourist tax to the hotel at the end of your stay but no big deal. Enjoy - we loved it here
