Monique was incredibly nice, always ready to give you Restaurant suggestions as well as recommendations in the area. I could even practise my French with her! :) The building and the rooms are beautiful - lovely interior, high ceilings and a tv in our room, where we watched the Olympics! Where we spent most of my time was in and around the pool, where you could relax and enjoy the sun. One thing I particularly noticed, was that there were near to no annoying wasps hovering over the water, which was great! When it comes to hospitality, La Rougeanne did an awesome job! You almost felt like part of the family. Monique and her employees/colleagues were always friendly and happy to chat. We enjoyed the classic French breakfast, with fresh croissants, coffee and more. Overall La Rougeanne is a great place for anyone, especially for families. It’s relaxing and enchanting with places like Carcassonne only a 15 minute drive away! As already mentioned everyone there was extremely kind. I can definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a wonderful holiday!
