Needed to stay in the city because we were meeting a client near the Eiffel Tower the following morning. Atelier Montpelier put us 15 minutes from the meet-up place and appeared to be a good place to stay. We took a standard double room. Whilst the room was tight, this was Paris, after all, and no smaller than what we'd get at one of the budget hotels out by the airport. The linens are clean and crisp, the mattress is comfortable, and there is a choice of pillows. The shower is hot and with enough space to turn around (nice towels too). There are bedside tables on both sides of the bed, as well as a desk chair and working area. Strong internet service. The heater pumps out a lot of warmth, but there are instructions on how to turn down the temperature (and there's always the opportunity to open the double-door windows). This is a lovely, lively self-contained neighbourhood with bakerie, restaurants, pubs, and a great independent cinema just around the corner. An excellent price/quality ratio and I would definitely consider staying again.
