La Bertonnerie en Champagne is an excellent stop over if visiting the Reims area or enroute elsewhere in France. A family owned tastefully converted Hunting Lodge has 2 rooms within the main house and 3 self contained suites in the house annex, each offering a good Continental Breakfast. There's plenty of parking at the property adjacent to the beautiful gardens. La Bertonnerie is in between two busy local roads, however, the double glazed windows blocked out the early morning commuter traffic noise, plus a minor observation was a lack of electric sockets in the "Yellow Room".
