Domaine Castelsec

This home is situated in a story-book, picturesque French setting that you will absolutely love! The home is isolated and very private, absolutely THE best place for a relaxing vacation/holiday. There is a walking trail behind the home which weaves through the mountainside and is full of beautiful nature as well as perfect views! Mireille felt like a member of my own family, my wife and I agreed. I hope to stay in touch with her over the course of time and hopefully visit her "final project" of a home soon. She takes great pride in her home and you can tell that she wants you to love her abode as much as she does. Breakfast both days was delicious, the rhubarb cake, makes me smile thinking about it. Mireille was accommodating for our breakfast times, our 2 mornings we needed different times and this was no issue at all, especially coming "home" at 4 am from my cousins' wedding. We had a private room and entry way so we did not disturb her much at all. Also, there were three dogs which were large. We happen to be dog friendly and we loved them all, they were very sweet. We saw them interact with a 2 year old child during our stay and they were very well behaved. In addition to running an excellent BNB, Mireille told us she is a dog trainer. So even if you don't like dogs, Mireille has them under control. My wife and I ABSOLUTELY recommend this property for you trip to southern France. I hope to stay here again should I ever make it back to France.
