My husband and I had the pleasure of being guests of Julien and Vanessa and we have nothing but high praise for this lovely young couple. We were so impressed when Julien opened the door to our knock and said "welcome to your home", and he truly did make his home our home. We had a lovely room that was spotless with an in-suite bathroom and the closed in porch was right on Lake Annecy. We had wonderful breakfasts out on the porch with fresh breads and croissants with lovely jams and always a fresh fruit salad. After breakfast Julian would spread out a map and help us with suggestions and recommendations of sights and restaurants. Both Julien and Vanessa spoke impeccable English so communicating was very easy for us since we have very limited French. If we have the opportunity to visit this area again, we will certainly stay here - it truly is a lovely oasis and you leave wishing you could stay longer.
