Victor’s Residenz-Hotel Berlin-Tegel

This was probably the nicest hotel we stayed at during our whole trip. The hotel is clean, well maintained and pleasantly decorated. Our room was spacious, comfortable and nicely furnished, with a very comfortable bed and even a balcony, which was a lovely bonus. We were travelling with our dog and there was an additional charge for him, but we really appreciated the little welcome treats provided for our dog — it was a lovely touch. The area is quiet and peaceful, and although the hotel is quite far from central Berlin, getting into the city by metro was easy and convenient. The breakfast was also excellent, with a great variety of tasty options. In fact, this 3-star hotel was better than some 4-star hotels we have stayed in. We were very happy with our stay and would gladly come back. The only minor downside was the distance from the city centre, but for us this was not a major issue thanks to the convenient metro connection.
