This hotel is in a small town on a cycle trail up the Rhine River. It was a wonderful experience. The lady who greeted us at reception was delightful. Happy and obliging, she explained our rooms were 10mins from being ready and arranged for our bikes to be stored in the cellar and served us beer in the outdoor garden. Our room when ready was huge and very spacious. It was on the top floor with windows that opened to give great airflow in the warm temperatures. For 3 of us travelling there was a separate bedroom which we loved. Our room also featured a comfortable sofa plus a seating and table area perfect for writing or playing cards. It featured a TV, well appointed bathroom and the icing on the cake was the wonderful schnitzel they served in the outdoor garden restaurant. The meal was huge, delicious and great value for money. There is not much in the village but it does have other eating places. However, we loved the food and friendly service so much it would be hard to go elsewhere. We didn't sample the breakfast. The wifi is free and there is a bar and indoor restaurant seating as well.
