Nádkunyhó Vendégház

We rented this lovely apartment around New Year with the family, and were very pleased with the place and with the host too. Arrival time is not fixed, owners live nearby so can check you in/out flexibly, or can help you whatever you need or in case of any problem. After we did the shopping for a week in one of Körmend´s hipermarkets (20 km), we were ok with self catering in the well-equipped kitchen (cooker with oven, microwave oven, toaster, kettle, fridge with freezer) and huge dining table. The rooms are nice and cozy. The traffic is minimal, it´s a very quiet village in winter. Nice bathroom with shower, and separated toilet. There´s a huge tiled stove to make the whole apartment warm, but if you don´t want to keep putting the wood on, also an alternative gas heating (with thermostat) is in order. The garden is pretty, big enough if there´re more people/families in the same time, with more space to park the cars behind. We had some nice trips in the area, the Örség is a great place to relax or discover the woods and villages around.
