1 reviewStayed here for 3 nights in June. The furnishing and the design wouldn't match with the most recent style, could even say feels little undated... But the whole property is well looked after and maintained to a good standard, thoroughly clean, comfortable. The location is unbeatable!! Within walking distance you can find numerous local restaurants, coffees, delicious ice cream, unbelievably cheap and extremely professional hairdresser (Wella - HairMenik saloon - early booking highly recommended), beauty saloons, public transport, all season open air tiny thermal pool, 25m pool and sauna in the local primary school which is open for the public on weekends and evenings, very popular local market (on Wednesdays and Saturdays) If for whatever reasons you are around this part of Hungary (Budapest city centre is only 25 miles) this place would be a good base. The owner speaks little Engish, enough to go through the basics. She is passionate about her business and makes sure guests have great time. Unfortunately we had a massive 4 days rainy period while in Hungary so could not enjoy the outdoor pool, but it was just a bad luck. Despite being located on a main road the garden is quiet place to rest. The only one single thing to mention is the breakfast. While it was a traditional Hungarian style, good quantity: bread, sliced salami and other meet products, fresh tomato, pepper, there is a big room for improvement on the tea and the coffee side. Since there are alternative options nearby this wasn't a big deal for us, we would happily return.
