Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach Hotel 

Prior to this stay, we had eaten lunch at the hotel a couple of times while in the area and finally made a full stay, and it is now our definite favorite hotel in Bali! Being in Seminyak, there is no shortage of things to do, so it is a great location also right on the ocean. We had a garden view room on the top floor and it was so peaceful and quiet yet so close to everything. The room itself had a great layout with a foyer area and a walk in closet, a first for me at a Hotel Indigo. The closet includes a dressing table with mirror. The bathroom itself is through double doors off the room. Toilet in its own room, large sink and a huge walk in shower that also opens out to the balcony where there is a "sofa" for lounging in addition to a table and chairs in front of the doors on to the main room area. There is a good sized sitting area in the room and a VERY comfortable bed. The decor is just beautiful. Hotel Indigo's are quickly becoming my favorite. The staff everywhere were kind and friendly. They made our stay that much more enjoyable. We especially enjoyed Minnie in the restaurant for breakfast. For context, I am Diamond with the IHG One Rewards program and we chose breakfast as our welcome amenity. In total there are three choices of restaurants for breakfast, but two of the three are available for the "free" breakfasts. If you want breakfast on the beach that is understandably extra. We never made it to the plated breakfast restaurant as our room was close to the buffet and they had abundant choices and everything we need. The only downside was the coffee. It seems Indonesians must like their coffee very weak. I normally drink Americano, but it was just too weak and I had to ask for an extra shot each day. This is not the first hotel in Bali where I had this issue and Bali is the only place I seem to have this issue. But it was minor and they were happy to add a shot. We ate several meals at the hotel and enjoyed them all. We really enjoyed the "outdoor" seating at the buffet where they seat you in the Tree Lounge or a side patio with a garden view. Highly recommend rather than staying indoors. We did have a minor issue with the WiFi in that it constantly boots you out and you have to continually rejoin. I hope the property can resolve that so it maintains connection a bit better. The Secret Garden pool is just beautiful and so relaxing. There is also the main resort pool which is huge, and then another pool near the water. Many choices! We did not know before going, but Tree Lounge has jazz on Wednesdays and it was great. There is also a fire show on Friday nights on the lawn near Tree Lounge. The spa is great! We enjoyed our treatment so much we booked a second one for the day before we departed. Overall we loved our stay and will definitely be back!
