I really dont know what is dingo dude's problem in life, his review is totally wrong and biased. We are at the moment staying here as a family of 4 and the place is really great value for money, clean, spacious and homely. The hotel is very clean and facilities are basic but good. We had a great breakfast cooked by the lady and the staff are very friendly and helpful, we organized our car rental through them. Uber's are so easy to book, they arrive in 5 minutes, so transportation is not really a problem.
I would recommend everyone to read all the other reviews first before making up your mind, this place is a great find.

We stayed 3 nights at Puri Dukuh. The room was clean and spacious, quite nice. The manager, Andreas, is so helpful and nice. He got up extra early to cook us breakfast two mornings in a row because we were going diving. That's some service! He also gave us very useful tips on good restaurants nearby. I would definitley stay here again. It really felt homely.

Room comfortable & clean, great location in Kerobokan, away from hustle and bustle but not too far from shopping etc.  Swimming pool and outdoor area beautiful.  With a lovely breakfast included, this property is excellent value for money.  Host Andreas very very helpful and nothing is too much trouble 😊  This was our second stay at Puri Dukuh.

overall, this homestay is good for tourist with motorbike.
if you bring a car, it's a bit hard to park  your car.
if you walk, it's quite too far from main street

Good Enough

I have never moved into accommodation where after an hour I've started looking for somewhere else to stay however this homestay meets none of my expectations. When I first walked in the host told me that the swimming pool was broken, which actually meant it was virtually empty apart from a couple of feet of putrid green water. The second thing she told me was that a number of people who had booked recently had taken one look around and left. The room itself is clean and fairly sparsely furnished. The a/c whilst on the coldest setting and maximum fan barely keeps the room cool. The television in the room doesn't function- in that all it shows is a single flat line in the centre of the screen. My room on the second floor, whilst having a shared balcony looks out over the street, which is noisy and busy all day and all night. The owner chain smokes in the courtyard so the room smells of cigarettes. There is no hot water in the shower. The breakfast is basic and even though the menu offers Mie Goreng that don't actually cook or provide it - so just choice of eggs with toast. It is also close to nowhere, you need to catch a taxi to get anywhere from here. The only good aspect is the wifi is nice and strong.
My advice is this is a place to avoid....
