Bali Mandira Beach Resort & Spa 

We’re already missing Bali Mandira Resort—those post-holiday blues are very real, and that’s probably the best compliment we can give. Every morning started with a relaxing walk along beautiful Legian Beach before returning to one of two fantastic breakfast options. The generous buffet breakfast at Celagi Restaurant had everything you could want, while breakfast at Azul Beach Club offered an à la carte menu with stunning ocean views. One of the unexpected highlights each morning was the warm French butter croissants—they were absolutely delicious and quickly became something we looked forward to every day. Either breakfast option was the perfect way to start the day. From there, the days seemed to melt away. Whether it was relaxing by one of the beautiful pools with a cocktail in hand or heading out to explore Bali, there was always something to enjoy. The lunch buffet at Celagi Restaurant was another highlight and provided the perfect fuel for an afternoon of swimming, relaxing and making the most of the resort. Late afternoons became a favourite ritual. Happy hour at Suling Bar & Lounge from 4–6 pm was the perfect excuse to cool off in the air conditioning, enjoy a few drinks and some delicious nibbles before dinner. Afterwards we’d head upstairs to Azul Beach Club, where watching the sunset over the ocean with a meal and a drink in hand became one of those memories we’ll treasure long after returning home. Our room was comfortable, spotless and beautifully maintained. We especially loved the private outdoor shower—it added a little touch of luxury that made every day feel like a tropical escape. The spa also deserves a special mention. The therapists were professional, welcoming and highly skilled. The treatment rooms were clean, peaceful and relaxing, and every massage left us feeling refreshed and ready for another day in paradise. What really made Bali Mandira special, though, was the atmosphere and the people. Every member of staff greeted us with genuine warmth and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived until the day we reluctantly checked out. Thank you to everyone at Bali Mandira Resort for giving our family such an incredible holiday. We left with amazing memories, plenty of photos, and one problem—we’re already planning our return because we miss it so much.
