Review: An Exceptional Sanctuary of Hospitality at Padma Resort Legian From the moment we arrived, the experience at Padma was seamless. The traditional welcome—complete with fragrant frangipani and the gracious, folded-hand greetings of the staff—set a high bar for the "welcome feeling" that permeated our entire stay. The resort is impeccably maintained, offering a modern, serene oasis that feels worlds away from the vibrant hustle and bustle just outside its gates. UNBEATABLE LOCATION & AMENITIES The resort’s layout is perfectly situated for convenience: the main entrance provides immediate access to premier shopping, while the rear exit leads directly to the beach and a short walk to Double Six Beach. On-site, the facilities are diverse and impressive, featuring: Beautifully Landscaped Grounds: Including an organic farm where the resort grows its own produce. Diverse Recreation: Excellent swimming pools, archery, and golf practice facilities. Strategic Room Design: Our Lagoon View room was comfortable, tech-friendly with ample charging ports, and offered a stunning view of the artistic pool below. A MASTERCLASS IN CULINARY CARE As guests with specific dietary requirements, we were blown away by the kitchen’s attentiveness. The breakfast buffet is truly a "feast," but the specialized dining was the highlight: SKAI BAR N GRILL: A magical atmosphere with live music and views of the infinity pool. Ms. Inten and Alex provided impeccable service. Tenkai Japanese: Chef Erik Vardana curated an extraordinary vegetarian meal that exceeded all expectations. Special thanks to Mei for her charming service. The Donbiu (Italian): Chefs Aditya and Derik handled our vegan needs with creativity and flair. The service team—Artha, Yuris, and Wistika—ensured a lovely evening. Breakfast Service: Chefs Sutar and Rio personally ensured our dietary needs were met every morning, giving us the perfect start to our days. EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE CULTURE What truly defines Padma is the staff. From the lovely security team at the main gate to the restaurant servers who consistently checked on our satisfaction, the culture of friendliness is omnipresent. This was a deeply memorable stay characterized by genuine warmth and professional excellence. We look forward to returning. Note on In-House Services ​While our stay was largely memorable, I must note that we utilized the in-house medical service and found the experience slightly negative. Although this is an outsourced provider, the experience reflects negatively on the hotel. I will be providing a detailed separate review regarding that specific service.
