Felix Hotels - Country Resort Parco Degli Ulivi

Lovely, comfortable hotel with an amazing restaurant, gorgeous pool and beautiful mountain views. The location is a little remote but, worth the drive for the excellent value and beautiful, peaceful location. If you want to be walking distance to town or next to a beach you will definitly pay 2-5 times more. This hotel has much better reviews than almost all of the five star hotels in the area. We must give a special shout out to Cynthia at the front desk. She welcomed us with a warm greeting and made sure we had anything we needed the whole stay. She even made us a packet with a map and information for our drive to the south. Initially we planned to stay near the beach but, figured there must be a reason why the reviews are so great for this hotel. We booked a sailboat in Palau to get our water fix and it was only a 15-20 minute drive to Palau and maybe a little less to Cannigione. With all of the summer crowds in the area it was very relaxing to come back to this hotel in the evening, swim in a gorgeous pool, and have a lovely dinner outside. It seemed somewhat dryer and cooler in this spot (in the evenings) than at the beach. If you have a car it is close enough to drive to the beaches and other local restaurants. Overall this hotel was an excellent value with great service. The only issue we had was a leaking shower that seems to flood part of the bathroom when we showered. The shower enclosure is a little low for tall people which also causes water to flood the floor. Other than that the rooms are very comfortable and the property is very lovely.
