Nuovo Hotel Faro

We stayed at Hotel Faro for two nights and could not have been more delighted. The amenities, cleanliness (especially because of COVID-19), and the view from our room were exquisite! However, the best part of this hotel is the staff. They are very friendly, attentive, and always smiling. They are always working diligently to ensure you have the best experience. We are thankful to have booked this hotel and highly recommend it. Great location!

Rooms are simple but very clean. The bathroom and shower are very good. The a/c works really well. The staff is really joyous and helpful. Breakfast is great. There are parking spots in front of the hotel. The view from our rooms were absolutely breathtaking. 

Great value hotel that is very clean but a little dated.  The staff were wonderful and very friendly.  We had a great room on the top floor with a slanted ceiling.  The huge balcony overlooked the beautiful sea and we watched romantic sunsets every evening.  The sea walkway and the charming town walks makes this town in Sicily a wonderful discovery.

Best Hotel Ever!

Nice Hotel with a gorgeous view

Faro is more than Fair

Not the prettiest hotel but right on the seafront with balconies having great sunset views. 
A bit dated but rooms are large and, although the hotel is right on the main road and behind a little filling station, it was pretty peaceful - not much traffic noise.
It's just  a few minutes' walk from the centre of this very Italian seaside resort. No private parking but  it was easy to park very close by on the seafront.
Very basic breakfast but there were very few people staying. Good value, and although the management didn't speak much English, they were friendly.

Convenient, adequate

We have taken a two week holiday in Sicily for the last six years, staying in numerous hotels around the country and I have to say that, without doubt, this is the worst hotel we have encountered,  Our room was like a cell, with paint peeling off bare walls and a tiny television mounted eight feet above the floor and only one power point mounted half way up the wall beside the toilet door.  There was no hair dryer, no spare pillows and no bedside lights, which meant you had to get out of bed and walk to the door to switch off the one, glaring, ceiling mounted light. The toilet bowl was absolutely disgusting with the grime encrusted below the water level refusing to shift despite vigorous brushing!
Why did we continue our overnight stay? We had just driven for 6+ hours and were absolutely tired out and, being assured that the Euro70 cost (the most expensive hotel this year)  included a good breakfast, we decided to stick it out.  The good breakfast consisted of coffee, one croissant, broken Golden Rusks and jam.  No bread, fruit, cheese, ham or cereal.
The good points; the A/C which was excellent and the sea view, which was what you would expect for a hotel facing the sea.
This hotel has great potential but under its current ownership/management I recommend you give it a very wide berth.

Abbiamo preso una vacanza di due settimane in Sicilia negli ultimi sei anni, rimanendo in numerosi hotel in tutto il paese e devo dire che, senza dubbio, questo è il peggior albergo in cui siamo incontrati, la nostra camera era come la cellula, con vernice che si stacca dal pareti nude e una piccola televisione montati otto piedi sopra il pavimento e solo un punto di alimentazione montato fino a metà della parete accanto alla porta del bagno. Non vi era alcun asciugacapelli, cuscini di riserva e non luci sul letto, e significava che era di scendere dal letto e a piedi la porta per spegnere quella, plateale, montato a soffitto. Il water era assolutamente disgustoso con la sporcizia incrostata sotto il livello dell'acqua che rifiuta di passare nonostante spazzolatura vigorosa!
Perché il nostro pernottamento? Abbiamo appena condotto per 6 ore e sono stati assolutamente stanchi e avere la certezza che l'Euro70 costo (il più costoso albergo quest'anno) colazione compresa, abbiamo deciso di restare. Buona la colazione consiste di caffè, un croissant, fette biscottate e marmellata d'Oro. Nessun pane, frutta, formaggio, prosciutto o cereali.
Gli aspetti positivi; l'A/C che era eccellente e la vista sul mare, che era quello che ci si aspetterebbe da un hotel che si affaccia sul mare.
Questo hotel ha un grande potenziale ma sotto l'attuale proprietà/gestione vi consiglio di dare un'ampia banchina.
