Residenza Il Villino B&B 

During a recent trip to Italy with our 13 year old granddaughter, our stay in beautiful Firenze was made that much nicer by our accommodations at the most lovely Residenza Il Villino. Everything about this charming B&B was perfect. To begin with, the location was ideal, within easy walking distance to everything we wanted to do and see in the city - no more than a 10-15 minute walk to the L' Accademia, Il Duomo, Il Mercato Centrale, Piazza dell Signoria, Ponte Vecchio, etc etc etc. The Family Room, which included a separate bedroom for our granddaughter, was a very comfortable, spacious suite. The delicious, bountiful breakfast buffet was served in a quiet, pleasant dining room. But most importantly, the welcoming hospitality provided by Barbara, the gracious hostess, was second to none. From the moment we arrived, Barbara made us truly feel at home, and in no time at all we all felt as though we were old friends reuniting. Her insightful, practical advice as we planned each day was always spot on, making our visit that much richer and memorable. Whenever we next return to Firenze (hopefully be very soon!), we won't look anywhere else for accommodations - returning to Residenza Il Villino will be like coming home. Grazie mille, cara Barbara!
