5 day city break in Florence. Massimo our host was fantastic, very knowledgeable and attentive. The guest house was located in a quiet street, just 5 minutes walk from the Duomo and in a great central location to see all the sites and very affordable good restaurants/ bars. The station was only 20 mins away and we went to Siena & San Gimignano, which were beautiful, easy to navigate medieval towns and only 90 mins away. Our room was lovely, modern/ rustic and recently decorated with everything you could wish for ie coffee machine, kettle, fridge and air con. The bathroom was small but again recently refurbished in a modern style, with a good rain forest shower. A great breakfast was included in the price ( Pastry, Coffee, Fruit, Yogurt, Water and Fruit juice) and only a 5 minute walk away. I would have no hesitation in recommending this accommodation. Top tip: download the Fork app and choose restaurants in the locality with a 20% - 50% discount. It works well and could be the difference between having pasta/ pizza to a nice Sirloin steak!
