We spent four nights at this quiet, charming Masseria. Although it's easy to get to with a car (near the main road from Lecce) and it doesn't take long to get into the nearest town, it feels quite remote. The accommodation was a standalone circular property with a patio, which had been furnished and decorated simply but tastefully. We cooked a little bit and the facilities were fine for basic meals. The owners are helpful and friendly - and they speak decent English. The Masseria produces various different produce, including good olive oil, pasta and vegetables. The only issue we had was with the hot water, but they were quick to come and fix it. Top tip: enjoy sitting outside on the patio, but buy citronella candles and green dragons (spirals).
