Sport Hotel S. Vigilio

I should start by saying I was lucky - on a work trip, staying in a room on the fifth floor with a private balcony overlooking the river. But, it couldn't have been nicer. The room was well appointed - clean, a decent size, good shower and the aforementioned amazing balcony. My only criticisms are that there was no minibar and that the wifi signal didn't reach my room, although I didn't follow this up as it was not an issue for me. So it is possible the staff would be able to help. Omar, who handled my booking, was attentive, responsive and polite with extremely good English. I found these to be common factors among staff. Each evening I was served a delicious dinner (and the restaurant amended the menu to cater to me as I am vegetarian) by a lovely waiter, whose name I sadly don't know. He was absolutely charming though, and looked after everyone very well. In the basement there is a spa. I visited it three times during a week's stay and found it empty each time - such a joy! Although I doubt this would be the case in peak seasons. Should I ever find myself on the mammoth trek to Moena again, I would certainly stay here.
