B&B Mondello

My husband and I stayed here for four nights in June for our honeymoon. We came in late (around 10 pm) due to a flight delay and Robert greeted us at the door, gave us champagne, a map of the city and recommendations for where to go get a late night meal! The room was very clean, breakfast was great, and everyone was berg nice! Absolutely recommend staying here.

My husband and I spent two nights here in May. Our room was large, clean, with a small fridge, tv, etc and a lovely private patio with a nice view. Bathroom was large, huge shower, good toiletries, big soft towels. Large, pristine swimming pool which has a pretty garden with loungers and lawns. Breakfast was the expected breads, cereals, pastries, plus terrific fresh fruit salad, freshly baked cake or pastries, cheese and sliced meat platter, yoghurt, fresh juice. The delightful hostess Roberta will make omelettess to order and is happy to provide for special requests. There is a coffee machine and jug for your choice of tea. Roberta and her husband Robert were extremely warm and welcoming. We borrowed bicycles and rode into town then on to stunning nearby National Park. Our hosts gave hints about local places to eat so we had excellent evening meals a few minutes' walk away. They also offered to arrange a boat trip (and arranged airport pickup and dropoff for us). We loved the place and would definitely return. I think it is great value for a really nice, relaxed holiday.The beach at Mondello is really lovely, very good and safe swimming for families. The beachfront has many great cafes and restaurants, very reasonably priced. It seemed very much a typical Sicilian seaside town, definitely not a tourist trap. Worth a visit if you are going to be in Palermo. You will love B+B Mondello!

We had a lovely stay at the b&b Mondello, the room was very clean and had a beautiful terrace that looked out on to the beach.The rooftop terrace was great for chilling out and had some great views.The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The breakfast provided was delicious. I would highly recommend staying here if visiting Mondello!

My friend and I had an amazing stay at Mondello. Both owners treated us like family, from restaurant recomendations to tourist tips and very welcoming gestures.The rooms ( each one with it´s own character and very chic and elegant interior design theme) are impecably clean and BRAND NEW!!! Restrooms are like 5 star hotels!!! Pool, breakfast bar, garden and location are top of the line! A wonderful experience!!!!

VERYYY CHIC!!

Husband and I are holidaying in Calabria and Sicily and stayed two nights in Mondello.  It's a B&B so don't expect a five star hotel! The room was clean, bathroom small but clean. Towels changed daily but no soap or shampoo provided. Nice little terrace to sit out at night.  Mondello is packed. Not a place we would go back to.  I think all the Sicilians from Palermo (15 mins by bus) travel to the beach day.  Having said that, the beach is pristine but trying to find a little bit of water to swim in is almost impossible. Town quite small and not much to do.  Wouldn't recommend more than 2 days here.  However, a trip into Palermo is a must. Especially at this time of year where it's sale season. Unbelievable shopping!

really lovely apartment, the owners are very nice and the rooms lovely & spotless however the noise is terrible and there is no getting away from that fact and I was there at Easter not even Summer.  The rooms are around the kitchen and therefore at 7am the signora comes in to prepare breakfast and makes a great deal of noise also people arrived until 11pm & later so not only do you get woken up late at night butthen from 7am.  Add to that the price of a 3 star hotel. Next time I would stay in Palermo in a quieter hotel for the same price and catch the bus (leaves every 20/30 mins) as it arrives in Mondello within 20 mins.
Purtroppo c'e troppo casino nella mattina (anche alla sera se le persone tornano o arrivano tardi)- le stanze sono construiti vicino la cucina quindi e troppo rumorosa nella mattina.  Le cose positive sono - i propritari sono simpataci, la stanza era bella, era pulita e c'e una terrazza bella...
