I was guest for one long weekend at La Tonnara while my sister was spending a week there with her family.
La Tonnara is a beautiful and quiet holiday house very close to the amazing Beach of Punta Prosciutto: it could be an outstanding  holiday retreat if only the people in charge of the organization knew anything about how to treat clients and tourists.

We had a very disappointing experience because of the way the owner of this place handled some really basic requests from us during a Sunday.

The bone of contention was the fact that after the day we arrived we asked 3 things: 
- a beach towel
- a kid bed
- to check the Wi-fi connection as it was really slow and it was needed for us to do some work from time to time 

The reason why we came to a complaint is that we tried to reach our key contact from the Villa but she disappeared for 24 hours and none of the phone numbers available ( the daughter? The husband? An assistant?) was able to inform us regarding where she was and how to reach her. The reason was that she was spending her time on a beach where there was no connection.  We complained that as a leader for a tourist structure she should be reachable during the day or at least at some time during the day but she just shrugged her shoulders and told us this was not her problem or to  exactly quote her “ if you are not happy, you can just pack and leave”.
 
On top of our need, the water was gone during the night until the morning, nobody was answering the phone in order to give us information on what was going on and there wasn’t even a kind gesture saying “ We have no water in the moment, we are trying our best to fix it and we will let you know as soon as possible “ but instead “ There is no water in this place sometimes, at your house doesn’t it ever happened !?!?!?”

I think La Tonnara is an ideal holiday solution but paying almost 900 euro ( for 7 nights) to receive such an inadequate and lout client service, it is definitely not worth your money.
