We booked a room at La Collina Felice on a whim. The b&b turned out to be a small paradise above the small city of Pellaro. They have a small pool area which was a welcome relief in the summer heat.The outdoor area is nice and has several tables and sunbeds. The room itself was not especially large, but had everything we needed. It even had a small fridge! The best thing with the b&b is beyond all doubt the hosts. The family running the b&b are extremely friendly people who will do everything to make your stay as good as possible. We got a pick up from the railway station, they gave us advice on where to eat and even drove us to a nearby restaurant! At the end of our stay we even got a lift to Reggio di Calabria! None of us speak Italian, but one of the daughters (Valeria) speaks English, so communication was not a problem!
