We were so lucky to find the Residenza Cieloterra. After coming from Firenze and Cinque Terre, my wife and I needed to decompress, and Assisi and the Residenza was the perfect prescription. We had booked four nights, but we were so happy with our visit we extended our stay to six nights. The apartment was huge and exquisitely clean. The bathroom was huge with lots of hot water. The bed was very very comfortable- the best sleeps in Italy so far. We found it the perfect central location for exploring all of the Assisi sites, and with our extra time we extended our exploration to Spoleto, Spello, Deruta and even drove up into Monte Sibellini Park - just beautiful. A very special shout-out to our hosts Gianluca and Elisabetta. Fresh baked treats every morning, great specific advice on all the activities we were doing, and a calm and refreshing atmosphere. We can’t wait to return and spend more time with them.
