Wonderful stay at Regina Elena hotel! The hotel staff was extremely helpful, kind, polite, accommodating and always had a lovely smile for me! The hotel room was great, fantastic view to the Adriatic Sea! Airconditioning was adjustable and worked great and quietly! Room was spacious and I absolutely loved the balcony. The hotel also has a connection "tunnel" way to get to the beach and beach bar. No need to cross the street. Awesome! I was traveling by train. The station was only 3 stops with bus which awaits you once you step out of the train station. The bus drop off is right in front of the hotel, the departing station only a few steps away! Perfect! The town La Margherita is lovely, one can walk to the center of town within 10 minutes, the famous and gorgeous town Portofino is only a short bus ride or taxi ride away. I also took a day trip to a lovely town called Camogli. I took the bus and train. It was easy, efficient and quick! I can only highly recommend the lovely staff of this hotel, starting from the wonderful people at reception as well as the breakfast and dinner staff! I have eating restrictions which were accommodated greatly and with ease! I could not believe the efforts everyone took - with a big smile - at this wonderful hotel to make my stay even more comfortable and enjoyable! Thank you from the bottom of my heart! I will most certainly return!
