This modern hotel is really well located at the centre of Sauze d’Oulx and is very comfortable. The rooms are spacious and decorated with slick style - we had a fabulous shower in our large bathroom and a private balcony (great on a sunny afternoon) overlooking the attractive outdoor seating area. There are two dedicated outdoor pods for groups and celebrations, which look very pretty lit up at night. The indoor bar is also inviting and popular. Breakfasts are fairly standard, self-serve with limited cooked food and the usual choice of continental patisseries, but there is more effort made with the dinner menu: the meals we ate were very good and the food, served in generous portions, was generally delicious. There is secure ski and boot storage for skiing guests, and the ski bus stops just opposite. Hotel staff are unfailingly friendly and helpful. While the resort overall needs investment (slow lifts, poor liaisons between ski areas), the Hotel K2 is absolutely spot on, excellent for relaxing after a day on the piste, and for a good night’s sleep!
