We stayed for 6 nights at the beginning of June. La Locanda is a 2 star hotel but the rooms are lovely and clean and spacious. We had a lovely little balcony over looking the mountains. Breakfast was well organised and lovely. Meats and cheeses , cereals and best of all cake which was lovely and a croissant each morning. Great location for catching ferries around the lake and a nice 15 minute walk along the lake into Stresa. Best of all was the 5 star attitude of the staff who were fantastic. Really helpful snd friendly. We loved our stay
