8 reviewsWe have just returned from ten days in Rome, Florence and Venice. We stayed for three nights in all three cities with the final night in a hotel. The Romite apartment at Wenicevenice, was far and away the best place we stayed. The owner, Carlo, was very helpful and his directions for pickup upon arrival were perfect. When we returned to the airport there was a water bus strike and Carlo arranged for a water taxi to pick us up at the nearest bus stop. Whilst waiting for our taxi, we found that there was a private bus service from our pickup point to the airport and the fare was 25 Euro instead of 100 Euro. We called Carlo and told him we were talking the bus and to please cancel the taxi. His reaction was less than pleasant and somewhat ruined his, up to then, perfect reputation with us. We would still recommend Wenicevenuice.
