Four of us (2 adult and 2 children) stayed in San Zeno residence for 4 days.
Quaint nice Hotel! 
Close to principal attractions, my room was spacious (about 360 ft² ), clean and pretty!
Owner and Staff were nice and helpful! The hotel location was a must basically you can walk everywhere! A stand out was breakfast and staff,  nothing was too much to ask.
A niggle was a poor wi-fi room however a definitely not at all priced hotel!
Overall an excellent stay! I recommend!

Beautiful hotel with gorgeous antique italian furnishings. We stayed in a spacious, modern apartment with great facilities (cooking, fridge). The feel was something really different and special. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay fantastic, and it was great value for money. Thankyou Stefano!

We stayed for one night and visited Verona. Very strategic location, minutes walk by the river. Visiting the main attractions by foot and you save money and time. You have convenience stores and drug stores close by. Good choice of restaurants and sweet shops. 
Very clean and cozy. Breakfast is above average and very good coffe. Secured parkig is few minutes away and costs 10 eur per day. It is a good choice as the parking in citycenter is almost non existent or super expensive. I recommend this stay.

This place is very conveniently located, near the basilica of San Zeno, but also a short walk to all the historic sites of the town center. Quiet.

Our upstairs room was really weird-looking, with antique stuff and strange ceiling angles, but it turned out to be very comfortable.

The whole hotel is full of remnants of an older building on the site, which makes it unique and interesting.

We were lucky to have the room upstairs. It was comfortable and quiet, well designed, with a little kitchen, The old building is really nice, so does the district . The restaurant inside is very romantic. The parking was also good, not free, but reasonable price.

Residence located in an area adjacent to the old town, very quiet 10 minutes walk from the Arena. Less than 200 meters there is a convenient underground car park which offers a practical parking € 16.50 per day. The residence is the result of several buildings joined by a curious style taste a little old, with medieval armor, brick and stone walls and wooden ceilings. The room was large and very well appointed with stylish wardrobe and dresser. Bathroom not very large but with everything you need and most importantly with the window. very good breakfast although not too large and with few choices. Residence very highly recommended for a stay in style in Verona although perhaps € 195 per night is a little too @gargio76

Had a really lovely stay in Verona, my husband booked this hotel as it was just outside the ridiculously expensive zone.

Not a bad walk back unless you're exhausted then it's not fun but it is doable.

Going back to the hotel, the staff speak a little italian, we got by okay, the room was quite nice, freaked me out abit as we had some sort of cript in it down a stairway, it was like a cellar, very cool though. It was clean and tidy, quite quirky which I like  BUT........... NO KETTLE meaning no coffee first thing, there was enough room in there to have a complete coffee shop let alone a kettle, I wasnt impressed. We stayed in C1 if you like a quirky room which slept 4, could of had a party in it, it was huge, plus air con, two sinks, a cooker, two fridges, kitchen units, knights of the round table in there, just no ruddy kettle of coffee machine.

The breakfast wasnt great, the coffee was amazing but they need to do more food, not sure if you ask they cook which is a possibility. There was nothing for me as I'm coeliac but I'm used to that, overall what my husband had was okay.

We got a taxi back to the airport, we paid €24, very impressed, the hotel staff said between €30 and €40 think it was €24 due to her speed, fine by me. 

Overall I'd definitely go back but I would take a travel kettle with me, it was a very pleasant week in Verona, Sirmione is a must.

Lovely hotel, I'd give it a good more than average

As many of the other reviews write this is a beautiful building in a excellent location however the price is way too high considering. The actual décor and layout of the building has a very vintage feel to it however unfortunately the same can be said about the actual rooms. 

The owner/receptionist as described is extremely grumpy, speaks no English, and will take cash only which was a real pain in our experience. 

I would like to say there is better options for the price you pay and it's a real shame because with a few simple improvements this could be a much better hotel
