Damas International Hotel 

Nice business class hotel. A bit lacking in personality, as such, but the breakfast spread was the most comprehensive I’ve ever seen- and they changed it up every day. We stayed here three days prior to and at the beginning of a small tour. Our room was clean and comfortable, and air conditioned. We then stayed a night following the World Nomad Games. we’d heard about the North Shore road closure and hoofed it out of Chopon Ata before it closed, which meant we arrived back to the Damas at 9. They stored our luggage at no charge but told us the hotel was full and checkin might be unusually late as a result. We did a bit of shopping, but got back by noon, because markets were closed with no warning. My husband was feeling awful by this time, so we elected to sit in the lobby. Seeing my husband and how ill he looked, they not only checked us in early, but gave us what seemed to be a junior suite, as well. I cannot say how much I appreciated this. He was able to get some much needed rest, and shake some of it off. This was extremely kind of the front desk staff. They (same young lady and gentleman) were very helpful during both stays. I’d stay here again. Heck, I LOVED Kyrgyzstan and sincerely hope we have the opportunity to do So!
