The hotel is very beautiful in every little corner and the food very good. The staff is also very nice.
What was bad
I paid 135 extra to have twinbeds and was quite disappointed that it was a double bed size where the two madresses was pushed 10 centimeter aside Spa: it was extremely stressfull with all the very small chilren using the spa as a playground - not very relaxing. And, my 15 year old daughter was not allowed to use the spa in the quite time from 19-22. It is nice, that you want to let children in to the spa, however, there should be limits. I suggest that you have a few hours where you admit small children and that children from 13/14 year old can use the spa all the time if they can behave as adults.

In front of the most beautiful Riga's park, just 2-5 min until the Old Riga. Central but quiet location The breakfast was amazing, especially I loved bakery and baked goods (the dark bread was unforgettable!!) Big choice of fruits, vegetables and different warm and cold breakfast choices.

The hotel is in a brilliant location, we walked everywhere and it's beautiful to walk through the park that's right outside. The staff are lovely and would do anything for you. Breakfast was delicious and the prosecco for breakfast is a nice 5* touch. The decor is beautiful and we would definitely recommend to stay here!
What was bad
The temperature control for the room didn't work upon checkin and the porter said he would get maintenance to fix it the next day since we arrived late. The next evening when we arrived back to the hotel we found it was still not working. We rang reception and asked for it to be fixed, the same porter came up and flicked a few switches and it started working but as soon as he left the room it stopped again. It was late so we knew maintenance wouldn't be there to fix it at this point so we just left it but it was disappointing because the room was far too hot where we had to open the windows, which is fine but it was blowing the curtains so there was no privacy and the light was coming in.
