Grand Poet Hotel by Semarah 

The hotel is in a great location within easy walking distance of the old town and art Nouveau area. The online check in/out facility was easy to use to order extras/ request information. We were in room 415 which was gorgeous; large in size and spotlessly clean overlooking the park. Would definitely recommend upgrading to a park view room. My partner was gifted a bottle of prosecco for his birthday which was a lovely touch and much appreciated. Breakfast was good with decent variety including prosecco if you wanted a decadent start to the day! We had a few cocktails in the bar in the evening which were very good, If I had a few minor issues I would say: The hot items at breakfast could have been hotter, and staff were a little too eager to clear plates The towels were quite thin and not really in keeping with a "luxury" brand. Children are allowed in the spa so maybe the adult only time could be increased. Our visit was marred by children jumping into the pool and running in and out of the steam rooms/sauna so it wasn't particularly relaxing. Green credentials could be improved by having full size refillable toiletries in the bathroom rather than small bottles; but I did like the quirky mini bar incentive if you forgo housekeeping. Overall it was a lovely stay, with friendly staff in a great location.
