When you arrive in Majuro, where arguably "the most friendly people of the pacifics welcome you", you could feel quite isolated. If you see any other tourist, it is probably a "country-collector". The island has only one big (lagoon) road, with no way of getting lost. It has several hotels and restaurants. 

Hotel Robert Reimers, run by the German founders daugther in law, Collette, is the best option. It offers good rooms at decent prices and also beautiful Cabanas in a dry garden. You can just step out and jump into the lagoon. Or you can walk up the longest (twisted) wooden stairs in the pacific and enjoy some good food in the hotel restaurant "Tide Table".  (cont be afraid of the local dish special "Fresh Tuna Tataki")

The staff at the reception is helpful and friendly. They also can arrange an island excursion for you. United airline crews also stay at Reimers. You can book a hotel shuttle beforehand and they wait for you outside the terminal.  And you can meet all those country collectors and hear their stories.

We had a very comfortable and pleasant stay here. We spent the first night in the waterfront bungalow, which was beautiful and spacious but too expensive for us, so we moved to a regular room in the main building and it was ideal. Quiet, comfortable, good facilities. There's a nice restaurant onsite, and the hotel is in a convenient central location for exploring Majuro. 

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The owner Colette and the receptionist Lalaine in particular went out of their way to help us find places to buy local handicrafts, and then when we ran out of time to ship them to the UK due to an unexpected closure of the post office for a local election, they very kindly agreed to handle the shipping for us. Excellent service, and highly recommended!

Much better than expected. I read many reviews before going. This hotel is exceptionally clean, rooms attended daily, fresh towels and sheets. Staff very friendly and helpful.Everything works, the shower is fine, the trick is turn clear knob on fully, the silver lever adjusts temperature. Simple. We had bungalow 409, on the water, excellent views. No cockroaches at all. Mosquitoes in evening at Darrit, none at Hotel.  Wifi was fast and reliable. Food was fine in the Tide restaurant. Colette went above and beyond for all requests. Reasonably priced car hire. Central location, plenty of stores nearby. A short walk to the great bar/restaurant Toeak. You can swim any where, don’t need to drive to Laura beach. I swam in lagoon at the hotel. Get cash out for taxis ( American dollars) and some smaller stores. Supermarkets take cards. ATM in Payless. Traffic is very slow and calm. 
As for the hotel, as another review said- if you want 5 star go to Hawaii. This is a real experience, homely accommodation and first class service. Colette is brilliant. 

I enjoy visiting Majuro and staying at the Robert Reimer Hotel!! Everyone here at the hotel, especially Collette, Lalaine, Caroline, Will, Carlson, Manny, are all genuinely kind, genuine human beings! 
The hotel has great Bungalows over looking the clear aqua blue water. 
The restaurant Tide Pool, also such a great variety of food, from Italian, vegetarian,  local fresh seafood, asian style. Breakfast, lunch, dinner is served every day!

Love this place.  They are super warm and friendly.  Collette and her staff will bend over backwards to accommodate guests. The can connect you with anything on Majuro fishing, boating, car rental, etc.

Rooms  are comfortable with ocean and garden views.  Beatiful court yard garden.

Prices are reasonable, free bottled water and coffee mix in your room. Hotel has a good restaurant and is one of THE local gathering places.

Definately the best and in my opinion the only place to stay in Majuro.  

Airport pick-up and drop-off aren't free but, at just $5 dollars each way, is very fair.
Staff headed by Colette are all very helpful and professional.
Rooms are adequate. The restaurant is quite good and very reasonable and possibly the best place to meet and eat in Majuro.
Wi-fi at $15 dollars for a day is expensive but that's a Majuro thing.
Unfortunately for me, the Eneko island boat was out of action when I was there making that planned destination a no-go. However, thanks to Lori and the other lovely lady in the Tourist Office, I ended up doing the WAM canoe trip around the lagoon instead and I can't recommend that enough (next door to The Marshall Islands resort). If you do that, please consider tipping up as, at just $25 for a one hour trip, it's fantastic value and all the money goes to a good cause.
The Laura beach bus is supposed to go from outside Reimers but I couldn't find it so just get a taxi instead.

Rob Reimers is an iconic place in Majuro. It is old and looks like a 50's design but was pretty clean. We had a spacious bungalow with a nice view. The restaurant and bar area were fun with pretty good food. However, we did get food poisoning from the restaurant so we left early. Front desk person Erickson was very friendly and helpful.

This hotel has a restaurant bar very popular people from town and tourist go there to eat 
The first day I was angry was given a room in the middle of a hallway where you could listen to all the guests walk around even at 4 am the drunk guest wake me up 
I got mad called reception and next day I was changed to a bungalow 
The diffence was huge I could sleep an afternoon nap 
Air conditioner works good 
Majuro is very poor . They did not recover from nuclear testing 
You have to hire a boat to the eneko island from the hotel family 
I went for lunch to bikendrik hotel you will love that private island hotel owned by Susanne and she makes nice food 
The transfer has extra cost 10 usd round trip and WiFi has 15 usd for 24 hours

The hotel accommodation is very rundown, clearly no money has been spent on the rooms for a long time. I had one of the outside rooms, very quiet which was nice but really not in great shape. The fridge door did not shut properly and it was very loud and I didn’t get hot water any day that I was there.  The bed was okay and the air conditioning was very good. The Internet connection didn’t work initially but when I went closer to the main building and connected it then would work fine in my room.
The restaurant food is very average but there is nothing that’s any good to compare it to in the Marshall Islands. Overall though this business is very efficient but you pay for the convenience e.g. airport pick up, the boat trip to Eneko Island, the car rentals etc, it all works for the price. The stuff were pretty unfriendly but did the job. Given the limited amount of options for accommodation in the martial islands I think this is probably the best you’re gonna get.

Probably the best you’ll get but not anywhere near great

The staff at the hotel are great. The food in the restaurant is good.  I stayed in the cheapest room they have, which was still close to $100 with taxes.  The room had no windows, so it's very dark all the time, if that bothers you, pay the extra for a room on the garden or with a balcony.  The hot water worked once in the week I was there, otherwise it was cool (not cold though).  The bed was comfortable and the internet was very good. I did have to ask for cockroach spray (just small ones), but I think that's everywhere and unavoidable).  It's walking distance to stores and a laundrymat (for $4 wash and dry it may be better than paying the hotel $20).  The airport shuttle is $10 each way, so good for the way there but maybe cheaper to get a taxi on the way back.  The only place to swim on the island is Laura Beach which is a 75 minute taxi and costs $5 each way. The late check out fee is $25.
