[eng below] Super hermoso el lugar. El wifi sirve para hacer llamadas con video. El Alexa no sirvió para prender luces ni controlar nada. Lo único feo es q dejamos el equipaje abierto por confiados y nos robaron dinero en efectivo qué traíamos (2k). Ya 100% confirmado. Y en el primer día que fuimos a calakmul y que no regresamos hasta en la noche. Ojalá pusieran cajas fuertes para que no sucediera. Nos vino a ver la ama de llaves qué limpio y nos dio la cara diciendo "qué ella era honrada y que seguro lo habíamos puesto en otra parte o gastado de más" cuando pues era el primer día, fuera de la ruina arqueológica y la carretera, el peaje nada se había gastado. Esto no lo digo a la ligera y siempre dejo reviews de todos los lugares a los que puedo pues es lo ue leo. Obvio sin cámaras, nosotros dejando el equipaje abierto. No lo pudimos hacer más fácil y no se pudo hacer nada. Pero pues OJO. Fuera de eso muy bien. En octubre nos tocaron hartos mosquitos. Lleven repelente con Deet. Si llevan orgánicos (el que llevábamos) no sirven de nada. Y aguas por que puede haber dengue.

Super beautiful place. The wifi works for making video calls. Alexa didn’t work to turn on lights or control anything. The only bad thing is that we left our luggage open because we were confident and they stole cash from us (100usd). It is 100% confirmed now. That was on the first day we went to Calakmul and didn’t return until night. Hopefully, they would put safe boxes so that it wouldn’t happen. The housekeeper came to see us, and told us that "she was honest and that we had surely put it somewhere else or spent too much" when it was the first day, nothing had been spent except for the archaeological ruin and the toll road. Obviously, there are no cameras, and we left our luggage open BIG MISTAKE. We couldn’t have made it easier, and nothing could be done. BE careful. Apart from that, everything was great. We encountered a lot of mosquitoes in October. Bring Deet repellent. If you bring organic ones (like the one we brought), they won’t work. And watch out for dengue. I don't give wrong reviews and I like to write them of all the places I go because I read them. FYI. 

Super beautiful place. They stole us cash when cleaning 1st day. 

The place is so nice and unique. We highly recommend it. We stayed in the room “Tucan” and it’s really worth it. The room is hidden in the jungle. Also the little outdoor restaurant is very charming and the food is very good and good value. There are aswell two lovely dogs. For sure this hotel was one of our Mexiko-highlights. 

Unique and romantic accommodation

This hotel is away from the highway, therefore there is no noise and we slept very comfortable in the Tucan suite, which is  specially lovely for a couple for 2 nights and in the small house Zapote for 1 night. The food at the restaurant was absolutely delicious. The staff is very kind and friendly, specially Edith and Erica, Rosy and Manuel.

Relaxing, comfortable, quiet and beautiful birds.

Such an amazing and lovely place, lost in the wild near Calakmul. A very good spot to explore the surroundings, with charming accomodations coming with all needed services. The site is wide enough so all the accomodations are well separeted, offering quietness and serenity. And cherry on the cake, their restaurant is excellent (dinner, breakfast...) and people very kind and helpful. Our heartstopper in Yucatan and a very good choice for sure.

A five star experience

Extremely comfortable place to stay when visiting Calakmul.  I would highly recommended it.  It's just a bit out of the town of Xpujil so it's very quiet and relaxing.  The bed and bedding was extremely comfortable.

Super Comfy spot in the jungle.

Everything about the place is perfect, from the staff to the accomodations, restaurant is good and happy hour a treat, it's a very peaceful establishment perfect to relax.... each cabana is private, the distance between them where you don't see the other cabanas, there even Siri in the rooms , first hotel where the shower heads actually function properly, it can be difficult with the water here high in calcium, everything is looked after, oh,the body soap they supply is amazing . I meant to ask if I could purchase it , but forgot. 

I could live there .

We had our own cabin, very conveniently set up, with AC, good screens, a kitchen, bath, and sitting area.  Lovely outdoor hotel dining area and bar within a short walk. The staff was very solicitous of our comfort.   Not convenient to dining in the town (Xpujil) without a car. 

Excellent lodging in vicinity of Becan, Chicanna and Hormiguero

Calakmul requires an overnight stay because you drive more than 3 hours from Campeche. Not too many options around but Casa Ka’an resulted to be a great place to arrive to: rooms are comfortable, fitted with kitchenette, fully equiped and loaded minibar, wine, hot water for a nice shower (but must hurry because it is sun-heated) and nice beds. Very clean beds and the best is a really simple but nice restaurant with sufficient options if you are hungry. Staff is super kind and helpful.

A nice spot to land before the piramids.

This is a nice little collection of casitas, clean and comfortable, with a kitchen, living room and lots of privacy.  Our casita was walking distance from the reception/restaurant which is all outdoors and lovely.  Service was good.  Value good.  I definitely recommend Casa Ka'an.

Perfect for the Calakmul ruins

This lovely well-run place is an oasis of calm. Everything is thoughtfully and carefully done. Loved our little house 'Aguacate'. All windows have mosquito nets (without any rips or holes!). Breakfast is a short walk away at a covered pavilion. We also ate three very tasty dinners there, and used the packed lunch service. The WiFi is excellent strength. Love the sense of being in nature.
