Casa de la Mañana

Have stayed at Casa Mañana several times over the past five years and I LOVE it here. The house is so beautiful in one of the coolest streets in town. A great location with a beautiful atmosphere this is an ideal property for families or friends to share. Barb, the proprietor is wonderful to work with and is very attentive to all of her guests needs. 

Amazing casa! Great way to emerse yourself into the culture. Kitchens, rooms Central courtyard with fountain. 2 decks to view the city and the sunsets. Full kitchen.Centrally located for walking the city, Highly recommended.

Everything was great except for the Wifi, I was never able to get connected.  The staff tried multiple times but I was upstairs on the second floor and it did not work.

This was a comfortable and convenient place to stay with attentive support from the Casa de Noces.
By relative standards the Casa Mañana was a bit pricey which was its only drawback.  It was, however very pleasant to have access to a kitchen and living room as well as a most pleasant, small courtyard onto which each of the rooms opened.

We had a fabulous time visiting San Miguel. It is truly one of the most beautiful towns we have visited in Mexico. The history, the culture, the art and the food - all was magnificent. Coming back to Casa Manana after a day of exploring the town and nearby villages we could immediately relax and recharge in our quiet and welcoming home away from home. The beds were very comfortable, ac was excellent, bathroom clean and the water was always hot. The comfortable sitting room and Mexican style kitchen were a wonderful place for reading and enjoying an extra cup of coffee or night cap. We never cooked in the kitchen (outfitted with plenty of dishes, pots and pans) since there are so many excellent restaurants in town. We can't wait to visit again soon and would stay here again any time. 

Barbara, Uriel and the staff are most gracious and the rooms and beds are most comfortable and well maintained. We hit a "speed bump" early on--things happen (and this is Mexico) , Barbara called me from her own vacation and resolved the issue most graciously. And that goes a long way.
Breakfast  keeps me from a rave review. The new website calls the "sumptuous Mexican" fare, or something like that, which was not my experience in Mañana. The fresh fruit slices were nice,--the other offerings were sugary pastries and sugary yoghurt. I went out to breakfast every morning, after eating the fruit. My guess is that a better breakfast was served in the main guest house...which leads to my tip, below.


Cute house,  but the last night we were out of towels, bath rugs, and coffee.   Anyway, we will be back, but we'll tell them to do not forget this details!   Very centric.  The administrator do not know what planet he is from, everything wrong!
